The Pillar by Kim Fielding 2024-03-28T18:23:12+00:00

The Pillar I really enjoyed this book, (as usually happens with Kims stories). This is a historical short, but not.. It has all the elements but the development and the ending add a sweet and interesting "happily ever after" sort of element. Faris is the herbalist/healer of town. He has a painful past that still torments him. He carries his guilt with him and doesnt think much of himself. He makes sure that his self-loathing is never forgotten. Hes broken, hes pained, and hes lonely. He has a huge heart, hes compassionate and greatful. He normally paints this line between himself anf his patients.. The Pillar by Kim Fielding

New Moon (Moon, #8) by Lisa Kessler 2024-03-28T18:23:12+00:00

New Moon (Moon, #8) 4.5 stars This book is excellently written and the characters were well developed. The plot was fantastic with twists and turns along the way. Starting the series on book 8 was in no way detrimental to reading, but to get the full picture I would recommend reading from book one. This book centers around Sebastian and Isabelle. Probably if I read the series from the beginning I would understand how everyone thinks Sebastian is such a bad guy, but I personally think he is just misunderstood New Moon (Moon, #8) by Lisa Kessler

When We Were Worthy by Marybeth Mayhew Whalen 2024-03-28T18:23:12+00:00

When We Were Worthy I am not what happened to me. I am what I choose to become - Carl JungWho we choose to become is who we really are and this is what the author Marybeth is bringing home in this story. What happens in high school remains in high school is what most budding adults believe, till somebody finds the courage to speak out. The town and the ball playersWorthy is, both a town of 4162, where everyone knows everyone and a football team, where Webb Hart, Ion Stone and Seth Bishop are the Gods on the football field When We Were Worthy by Marybeth Mayhew Whalen

How to Play (Dangerous Games, #1) Fun read for gaming fansI just laughing at all the sights and people that I have seen at Gen con in this book. Plus the tie in to "The Gamers: Hand of Fate" made it even better ( and not just because my son and I had great seats for "Games Live" at Gen con 2012 resulting in getting our half second of fame as extras in the crowd). The Outlander Series (Outlander, #1-7) Such a great series. I have not met one person who read them and hated it. I tell all my friends that this is the one series that is worth your time and money. I bought the 1-7 bundle in my Kindle. I now want the hardback books for my book shelf. Not going to lie there are some parts that drags. She is a great storyteller and weaver. The Outlander Series (Outlander, #1-7) by Diana Gabaldon
