• The Knife of Narcissus Parts 1-2
The Knife of Narcissus Parts 1-2 by Carolyne Chand 2024-03-29T06:07:59+00:00

The Knife of Narcissus Parts 1-2 The Knife of Narcissus was originally published as a 7 part serial but I read the complete Omnibus edition. I loved the quality of detail the author used to put the reader right there in Ancient Rome experiencing Lucius & Trios journey along with a very interesting cast of secondary characters that at times add so much more than secondary plotlines. I will admit that there seemed to be a lot of moments of repetition in regard to Lucius inner monologue, but this is my first serial so perhaps that is more common with the writing style of serials as a nod to the "previously on . . Tiger's Dream (The Tiger Saga, #5) by Colleen Houck 2024-03-29T06:07:59+00:00

Tiger's Dream (The Tiger Saga, #5) Its been so long since I read the last book. And this book? Its SO long. It took me days to read it. 800+ pages! It should really count as four books at least. Seriously!! This book is a saga all unto itself. It was awesome to delve back into the Tigers world. I loved this series and I always, always wished for happier things for Kishan. This book wasnt quite what I was expecting but it was awesome and I loved how this book was all over the place- connecting dots you had no idea were there. I loved the back story for the Goddess Durga and the ever growing tension between Kishan and Durga (Ana). Tiger's Dream (The Tiger Saga, #5) by Colleen Houck

Off Campus (Bend or Break, #1) A Giant Snoozefest!First, I feel bamboozled, this cover model is HOT. Who was he in the story? He couldnt be Reese, Reese was a short twink, thats skinny, with long dark hair in his face. Tom was 6 ft and blond. I want this model to myself!OMG, seriously, Toms inner monologues hogged the damn story big time. It had good times throughout it. It just wasnt enough. Goodness, I skimmed through it after 75%. I couldnt take it anymore. I liked Reese as a character. He truly was in love with Tom and willing to do anything to help. Tom has this huge guilt on his shoulders, conscience and heart Off Campus (Bend or Break, #1) by Amy Jo Cousins

Shimmer: A Faerie's Tragic Tale I received this book in exchange for an honest review. This is a short story of Elven love. It has the air of Shakespeares Romeo and Juliet. Its a delightful quick read. Shimmer: A Faerie's Tragic Tale by Claudette Melanson

Flight of Magpies (A Charm of Magpies, #3) Project KJC Backlist Read part 3A first-time read for me as well. This third installment completely hit it out of the park for me. Not entirely surprising, based on my reading tastes: theres a lot of romantic *conflict* here to push the plot along, and the two weave seamlessly together. Like Ive said in other reviews, this is the hallmark of KJ Charless writing for me, and it was fun to get what felt like the first glimpse of AHA, YES, THIS. The way questions of power between Stephen and Crane cross assumed lines of class, sexual dynamics, and magical power is truly, truly impressive Flight of Magpies (A Charm of Magpies, #3) by K.J. The Magpie Lord (A Charm of Magpies, #1) 4 “You’re safe here“ starsFor once I don’t have much to say, I just had a really good time reading this book. This book was made for me so i’m really shocked at how long it took me to read it. Please don’t ask me why I hadn’t read this yet because I have no idea. This book is a lot of the things I love in books and yet I never picked it up before today. I really enjoyed it and I absolutely loved the ambiance of the book and I loved the main characters very much. I’m very excited to read more of this series.
