New Moon (Moon, #8) by Lisa Kessler 2024-03-29T07:45:22+00:00

New Moon (Moon, #8) 4.5 stars This book is excellently written and the characters were well developed. The plot was fantastic with twists and turns along the way. Starting the series on book 8 was in no way detrimental to reading, but to get the full picture I would recommend reading from book one. This book centers around Sebastian and Isabelle. Probably if I read the series from the beginning I would understand how everyone thinks Sebastian is such a bad guy, but I personally think he is just misunderstood New Moon (Moon, #8) by Lisa Kessler

Cards of Love: The Moon (New Camelot Trilogy, #4) by Sierra Simone 2024-03-29T07:45:22+00:00

Cards of Love: The Moon (New Camelot Trilogy, #4) Merlin and Nimue from The New Camelot series take center stage In this intoxicating tale. I was always so intrigued by Merlin and now his role all makes sense. I dont want to spoil it but for me it was an aha moment. However what about his history and his love, prepare yourself as this is a twisty tale of a decadent erotic passionate love story. Ive loved the way this author has brought the stories of Camelot up to date with a twist. This was the perfect addition to the serious there is nothing I would change the story and writing were amazing. Cards of Love: The Moon (New Camelot Trilogy, #4) by Sierra Simone

The Russia Hoax: The Illicit Scheme to Clear Hillary Clinton and Frame Donald Trump This book should be required reading for every voter in America, but make sure youve taken your blood pressure medicine before you begin it. I was saddened, disappointed, and angered to read about the perfidy of those in positions of power in our country. It affirmed for me how blessed we are that Donald Trump was elected our president instead of Hillary Clinton The Russia Hoax: The Illicit Scheme to Clear Hillary Clinton and Frame Donald Trump by Gregg Jarrett

Stories of Your Life and Others by Ted Chiang 2024-03-29T07:45:22+00:00

Stories of Your Life and Others Story of Your LifeTold from the perspective of a mother remembering her child. Absolutely heartbreaking. And it was only 50 pages. The mother, a linguist, is recruited by the government to interpret the language of an alien species, and she adopts a new perception of reality.Easily one of the best short stories ever written. The Tower of BabylonA weird and mysterious way to start the short stories collection. Rewriting legend; as always with Chiang, best prefaced with the words: "Imagine if.. Stories of Your Life and Others by Ted Chiang

Second Nature (Blood at First Sight, #1) by Marie Lavender 2024-03-29T07:45:22+00:00

Second Nature (Blood at First Sight, #1) Something magical about an undead romanceIts obviously not a typical romance, nor is it typical about an undead ravenous vampire story. The vampire is Alec, and the human he desires is Desiree. I am a big fan of Lavenders work, so this was something I definitely wanted to read. A start of something new, and very intense and filled with grand vibrant characters. The story builds so much the reader can feel the intensity of the chemistry between the vampire and his "captive." I really enjoyed this story, and how Lavendar can spin a great tale of romance, even with the undead Second Nature (Blood at First Sight, #1) by Marie Lavender

The Chosen (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #15) Loved this way, way more than I thought I would. Xcor exceeded my expectations as a character, to see him under Laylas unconditional love was fabulous! Loved Wrath, thats one badass mofo for sure and I cant not mention my man-angel Lassiter. I wanted more of him because ..... Lassiter!Hated Qhuinn, really really hated how Ward has transformed him into a stroppy, hissy fitting little bitch. Maybe if Ward had pulled his character back earlier I might have warmed to him a bit but his "redemption" came too late on in the book to be believable The Chosen (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #15) by J.R. Tainted (The VIP Room, #2) I dont know what to think about this book. While I really liked Kaden, I didnt like one of his decisions, like didnt like it a LOT!! That same decision had Sawyer making her own decision that I didnt like. Combining that, the book lost a star. Everything was going along swimmingly, until Kaden shared Sawyer with Ax. Im not really sure why that bothered me so badly in this story because I have no issue with menage. I guess I just think that once you *know* it is forever, you dont share unless it is a permanent polyamory situation Tainted (The VIP Room, #2) by Jamie Begley
