Man charged over tragedy chanting at Utd-Burnley

WORCESTER, Mass. -- Kyle Nolan ran 18 times for 143 yards and two touchdowns as Georgetown defeated Holy Cross 28-21 on Saturday in the season finale for both teams. Nolan ran for a 1-yard score in the second quarter to tie the game at 14-14. After two third-quarter field goals by Matt MacZura put Georgetown (2-9, 1-4 Patriot League) up 20-14, Nolan ran for an 82-yard touchdown with 1:57 to play in the fourth to extend the Hoyas' lead to 28-14. Georgetown also scored on a 5-yard run by Joel Kimpela in the first. The Hoyas rushed for 212 yards and had 439 yards of total offense. Peter Pujals threw two touchdown passes for Holy Cross (3-9, 1-4) but was also intercepted twice. The Crusaders managed just 59 yards rushing on 30 attempts.
